HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY TRINITY!
Trinity Jayden Bent
Hauoli La Hanau
I would like to wish my great grand-daughter Trinity a very Happy Birthday. We all love you and wish you were here so we could celebrate yours and Kamalani’s birthdays together. You two look so much alike except for the eyes, Kamalani’s is more oriental. Just like how your Daddy, Aunty Ui and your cousin Journie look so much alike.
Tutu and Papa wish you the very best of everything. May the Lord bless you and guide you thoughout your whole life. May you grow up to be a fine young lady, and have great knowledge. Tell your Daddy and Mommy we miss them very much. And hopefully we’ll get to see all of you soon.

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!!

I’m a day late cause I wasn’t home yesterday, but I want to wish my grandbaby Kamalani a very Happy Birthday. She turned 3 yesterday and went with her Dad and his family for a party at the beach. We will have one for her either this weekend or the week after.
But anyway, she is what keeps me alive and always on my toes. The love of my life, and the pride of my heart. She is such a joy to be with! Especially when she’s in the ocean, a pool, or the Water Park.
I love you with all my heart and soul baby. Hauoli La Hanau. And may you have many, many more to come. May the good Lord bless and keep you in his care always. May he guide you and let you grow into an upstanding citizen in our world today. May He bless we with great wisdom to know the difference from right and wrong, love in your heart for others, and peace in your soul. And always know that your Tutu will love you forever and ever.

Day with the Kid
Yesterday was such a beautiful day. After I got all my business taken cared of, I took my grandbaby across the street to the beach along with my nieces and nephews. They all had such a wonderful time. The beach is a small block away from the house. Aren’t we lucky!
My grandbaby does not like to get her feet dirty, so at first she didn’t want to go in the sand. But as soon as she saw the ocean and the waves washing up to shore, she was so excited. So I took her in the water with her boogie board and she was in 7th heaven! She just loves being in the water! Whether it be the ocean or a pool. At 34 months, she is not afraid of the waves breaking over her, or carrying her to the shore. I’m just waiting for her to get a little older so I can take her on her surfboard that I picked up at a garage sale. I put her little water wings on her and she’ll bodysurf by herself. She laughs and says ” look Tutu, I catch the wave”. Her hawaiian name that I gave her is Kamalani oke kai “child of the sea”, so go figure why she’s a waterbaby and not afraid.

Mac’s back.
Well, what do you know. My other kid is back in the groove. Thanks to Priss. I’d like to introduce to you The Constant, also known as Mac Samurai. He has been out of commission for awhile in the world of us bloggers. But he is finally back, so go on over and give him hell. We all need to make up for his lost time. Go blog him everyone!

My shadow
I bought my grand-daughter another pool today. The other one got pretty messed up and it was hard to clean cause it was so big. She had a ball playing in it today with her little cousin Delilah. Once she goes in the water, she doesn’t like to get out. Even in the ocean. I gave her the name “Kamalani o ke kai”, which means “child of the sea” in English. So now, she ends up being a little water baby. I have a hard time keeping up with her sometimes. She’s 2 yrs. 8 months, but has the intelligence of a 4 or 5 year old. She speaks like one too. So my husband, my daughter(her mom) and I find ourselves getting into arguements with her. And it’s hillarious because we look stupid doing so. But she’s such a joy to listen to, and watch. She has a great imagination for her age and she comprehends so well. You can read her a book, and she can tell you later what the story was about. Even when she watches a video or the television. She’s my shadow, I can’t make a move without her being right behind me, or beside me. Now that all my children are grown with thier own families, she is the one thing that keeps me alive and going. Me and my shadow.
