Summertime…."KEAHI” the Fire!

By Ma • 12-05-05 • 7:07 am

Ah yes! It’s officially summertime in our neck of the woods. How do we know that? It’s like my hanai daughter WiRed stated on her site. It is time for all the brush fires in Waianae.

Every year all these juveniles think it’s fun setting fires all over Waianae. Sometimes we have 3 fires going on in three different places. It is fun and games to them, but they don’t realize or don’t even give a rats ass that they are jeopardizing other peoples lives and homes. Our family has had alot of close calls through all the years that we have lived in this valley.

We have had to go out in our yards and shoot down the yard and roofs of the houses because the field or mountain behind us is on fire. There are times when I wish that the kids or young adults who are doing this get caught in thier own wrath. You know where I’m coming from? They think it’s so funny watching the fire department go crazy because there’s 2 different fires going on at the same time.

They have no inclination of what would happen if the fire traveled down to the homes that are so nearby. Either that, or they really don’t give a fuck. We have fire companies from other towns coming to help fight “Keahi”.
The smoke is bad, especially for those who have a respiratory problem like my husband and my daughter. Sometimes they have to close part of the road, which causes a major traffic problem for Waianae, cause there is only one way in and one way out. WTF!

Maybe someday one of these culprits will get caught and they’ll get thier day. I say: don’t lock them up, turn them over to the towns people so they can get thier asses kicked big time!

They have alot of activities for the children where they can pretend and play, create things with building blocks, and art center where they do thier own paintings, etc. All the kids love it cause there’s alot for them to do.

Happy Mother’s Day

I would like to wish all you Mommy"s out there a very Happy Mother’s Day. Anyone can be a mother, but it takes someone special and loving to be a Mommy. Like K@os’s wife who is taking care of my grandson Justice who is not her biological son, but she is the only Mommy he knows. All you special Mommy’s out there, I hope you’ll have a wonderful, glorious day tomorrow.

We went to the beach today and had our Mother’s Day with my daughter Malia and her in-laws. It was such a beautiful day at Barbers Point. I’ll have some pictures put up later when I use up the film and develop it. The children had some fun in the sand and water. So did the Big kiddies, heheh.

Out of the mouth of Babes or Kids say the darndest…..

My 2 year old grand-daughter always comes up with a few winners.

1) But Tutu, the Dr. said I can have this one. ( This is when we tell her she can’t have snacks before a meal.)

2)I think so maybe.....Is her favorite phrase when she explains some thing to you.

3) It’s sunny already, so I think so I can go outside and play, maybe.

4) Are we going to 7-11? It’s hot Tutu, so I think so I need a Slurpee.

5) When she’s eating something and her Papa asks if he can have some, she replies.....The Dr. said you cannot have any. It’s only for little kids.

6) One day her Mom said something to her and she turned around and told the Mom..."You better check yourself!” My daughter Ui said: Oh no, she just didn’t tell me to check myself, that little wench. ROFLMAO!

You all got anything to add, go right ahead. There’s a whole bunch more that I’ll add later. I’ll let you have some fun first.
