The Eldest

First of all I would like to welcome home my son Charles Kahaealohaulaokalani Bent Jr. also known as CK. He is here for a visit and to see if it is time for he and my daughter- in-law Connie to come home to stay. The children are all grown and on their own, so they have an opportunity to come home and do God’s work. Yes, my son and his wife are pastors. They are now being offered an opportunity to come back to the islands, which I’m hoping they’ll take.

He is also a talented singer and musician like his sister Priss. In fact, there are 5 siblings who can sing up a storm and perform. The true musician who plays a bunch of different instruments and has his own recording studio at home is Jimmy. Then there’s CK who’s blows a mean harmonica. Next is Tita (she’s a Connie too) who does some keyboard, and sing too. They all sing!  There’s Priss who can play keyboard, clarinet and a little percussion, and last but not least is the Uku. She can’t play any musical instrument, but like Priss she can wail! And then there’s my grandson Nate who can also sing. He is like Priss and loves Jazz and Swing.

I would love to see the 5 siblings and my grandson come together one day and play and sing together. At least 1 time in my and my husbands lifetime. I think that would be one of the greatest gift I could have.  smile No money in the world would be able to top that. I’m not saying I don’t need money cause we all do. But this is something that I feel deep within my soul. And Jimmy, I hope you can hear me, son.

Fed up……..

With what you ask? With all this road work on the Waianae coast. I have lived in Waianae for 17 years, and they’ve been doing road work seems like for the last 10 years. It is so aggravating cause sometimes it takes me 30 - 45 minutes just to get out of Waianae to Ko’olina (which normally should take about 10-15 minutes.)
They are doing road work from Makaha to Nanakuli with little breaks in between. WTF! I’m sure damn tired of it and I think WiRed will agree with me. All the tax payers money and yet the roads down here are so CRAPPY. They just ruin the hell out of the car tires.
The only good thing that’s happening here now is that they are finally making sidewalks for us. Whoop di doo! The people down here probably don’t know what it’s for cause we went without if for so long. :(

Mac’s back.

Well, what do you know. My other kid is back in the groove. Thanks to Priss. I’d like to introduce to you The Constant, also known as Mac Samurai. He has been out of commission for awhile in the world of us bloggers. But he is finally back, so go on over and give him hell. We all need to make up for his lost time. Go blog him everyone!  raspberry

“Keahi”……The Fire

By Ma • 13-05-05 • 3:03 am

So we are here again talking about the fires on the Waianae coast again. As you can see it hasn’t changed much since yesterday. Keahi...The Fire. Causing so much problems for the residents of the Waianae Coast. Manolo Morales, from the Channel 2 News is out here at the Nanakuli shopping center this morning talking to a lot of angry residents. These teenagers who are causing these hardships for the residents here should be taught a very harsh lesson. I wonder how they would feel if their home caught fire and they would lose everything their parents worked for all their lives?
One cannot fathom the lost of an entire life’s work until it happens to you, yourself. What in the world would possess a human being to do such a God awful thing as to jeopardize the lives and homes of other humans, and also the wildlife and follage of such a beautiful state?  :( What are these uncaring, selfish assholes thinking?

I Hate Harris!

By Ma • 12-05-05 • 4:04 pm

I’m always hearing on the news that so and so is getting indicted for illegal contributions, or getting a contract for a job, etc. because of Jeremy Harris. For those of you who don’t know....He is the ex-mayor of the City & County of Honolulu. A whole bunch of people have already gone to jail, but this dipshit is still walking the streets. WTF!!

I never liked him and I guess I never will. I’m glad he’s finally out of office. He always likes to have his face plastered all over the media, but didn’t do jackshit for us except spend alot of unnecessary money, and try to take credit for things that wasn’t his doing. I told him straight to his face one year when he was campaigning that he was a crock of shit. He never came to Waianae for anything except when it was election time. He showed up one year at the Mall here and tried to kiss ass. I gave him a piece of my mind, so did my husband.

I just heard on the news yesterday about someone going to court on charges cause of this Jeremy Harris crap. I hope he gets his just deserve one of these days like the rest of them and see his sorry ass thrown is jail.  raspberry
