Two Years Of Missing You

By Ma • 20-11-07 • 7:07 pm

To my darling husband who’s anniversary of his passing will be 2 years tomorrow. I miss you so much and think of you every minute of my life. You will always be my one true love. Now and forever, Kahae.

This poem came with a necklace that my baby girl bought me after my husband passed away. It conveys the message that I hold true to my heart.

Since Heaven has become your home
I sometimes feel I’m all alone;
and though we now are far apart
you hold a big piece of my heart.

I never knew how much I’d grieve
when it was time for you to leave,
or just how much my heart would ache
from that one fragment you would take.

God lets this tender hole remain
reminding me we’ll meet again,
and one day all the pain will cease
when he restores this missing piece.

He’ll turn to joy my every tear,
and when I wear this necklace near
it will become my simple way
to treasure our Reunion Day.

Wishing all the brave men and women who have served this Nation and to all those who are fighting to keep us free, a very Happy Veteran’s Day. I ask our Father in Heaven to guide and bless you all. And may He keep you safe. To all of you in Iraq, I salute you and give thanks. To the 35th SIG BN in Mosul, I love you.

And to my darling husband in God’s great Kingdom who served in the Korean War, I miss you and love you with all my heart. Not a day goes by without me thinking of you and wishing you were here. Kamanawa apau a me aloha au ia oe, Kahae. Kamanawa apau.

I’m Still Around………Just not blogging as much.

By Ma • 31-08-07 • 6:06 pm

I’m still here and doing well here in Hawai’i. Just wanted to say Hi to all my friends in blogland. I guess you could say I’m making up for lost time and going to the beach and other places alot. Spending alot of time with my daughter and her family and taking care of Baby K who’s Mom got deployed. God bless her!

Baby K has officially started school and is in Kindergarten. She’s loving it too! She’s very bright so, there shouldn’t be any problems for her. All the Kids have grown alot and are doing very well. Baby Zane will be 1 in a couple of days. Baby Noa is running all over the place and is Baby K’s partner in crime. Bruddah Man is causing chaos all over the place, and is the image of Papa Charley. Baby Z has grown into a beautiful little Princess and is very bright. I love them all, and I’m happy to be near them again. They are my pride and joys, and the blessings of my life.

I hope all of you in blogland are doing good and I will eventually get around to visiting your blogs. Aloha nui loa and God bless you all.

Today’s thursday Thirteen will be of our recent family trip to Knott’s Berry Farm. We all had a great time. The “BIG” kids had just as much fun on the Big rides like the Excellerator and the Ghost Rider. It was a very wonderful trip with happy memories for my Ohana. One that we shall have fond memories of and never forget! I want to thank my son and daughter-in-law for making it possible. Mahalo Nui Loa!
